Why Do I Need Tile and Grout Cleaning?

Tile and grout are sold as low maintenance floor coverings, but let’s not confuse LOW maintenance with NO maintenance. Many tile types are non-porous and therefore will not absorb soils and stains, but the grout is quite the opposite. Grout is a mortar type of concrete which will absorb many water and oil based substances. Over a fairly short period, these spots can become permanent.

How is BASIC’s Tile and Grout Cleaning Better Than Other’s?

Our process uses extremely hot, high pressure water to almost blast the soils and stains from your tile and grout. A few other companies also offer this, but BASIC goes one step further. We have a mini-tile cleaning machine that uses stiff cylindrical brushes to “bite down” into your tile and really SCRUB both tile and grout clean.

Do I Need Tile and Grout Sealing?

As stated above, grout is highly absorbent. By sealing it with a solvent based penetrating seal, it helps to repel both water and oil based substances. Sealing your tile and grout will not only make your floors look almost new again, it will make them clean up much easier for you.
