1) BASIC uses environmentally SAFE cleaning PRODUCTS

We use the hot water extraction method of cleaning. This method involves spraying a light mist of a very mild cleaning agent onto the carpet surface, gently brushing it in and then flushing it out completely with hot water only. The cleaning agent loosens and suspends spots and soils, so they are not sticking to the carpets fibers. The flushing REMOVES these soils AND takes out the cleaning agent as well. The result: No harsh chemical residue, nothing sticky left in your carpet that will make it re-soil faster.

2) BASIC uses environmentally RESPONSIBLE cleaning PROCEDURES

Believe it or not, even though we use environmentally safe products, the dirty water that comes out of your carpet is considered hazardous waste! BASIC disposes of our waste water properly, in accordance with Federal, State and Local Ordinances.  We have installed specialized equipment on our trucks to do this. Some carpet cleaners simply discharge their waste water into the street where it enters the storm sewer and goes directly to local lakes and streams.
